The longest salt cave in the world project

The goals of 2019 expedition were:
- Continue with survey of all of the horizontal parts;
- Rappel in vertical shafts and check high windows and passages;
- Surface survey in order to find new openings to the Malham underground system.

We managed to push this cave at around 10Km (after the connections of the survey center lines) which make it, beside longest salt cave in the world, also the first 5 digit cave in Israel. 21.02.2019

  1. That it will be quite a challenge, since the longest salt cave in the wworld, the 3N Qeshm cave from Iran, is over 6 km long! But I trust you can do it!
    PS Romania had the longest salt cave in the world for decades, the 6S Medelic cave, today inacessible because of a major landslide that has blocked the entrance.
    There is a long time since the 6S cave was last visited...so..who knows how it looks now!
    Good luck Radu and be safe!

  2. Ai grija, Radule. Sa faci poze intr-un aeroport in Israel poate sa fie sinonim cu a cauta belele.
